Ack, I hate blogger today... so many problems... ok one problem. it won't publish.
I hereby retract that last statement. Wouldn't it figure?

I had a plan I was going to do a thoughtful reflective piece on my years here at Law School, but I am not ready for that yet. It may come still but now I am enjoying not being a law student any longer. Oh, I'll still have to come to this building all the time to do the bar review stuff, but that will be different. (I hope) I talked with another lawyer who I used to work with and she is going back to school to get some technical classes so she can take the patent bar. That is something I am considering. I just want to get my foot in the door for the IP world. I am not sure of any other way of doing that. I guess you gotta do what you gotta do, but when am I going to find time to do it?
Thought of the day: The sidewalks in Portland should be ready to crack with all the attorneys up there pounding the pavement looking for work.

Procrastination is my legacy The paper is half-way done, despite my best efforts to procrastinate. This is my last law school thing ever. Sorta sad in a way. Anyway, on my exploration for procrastination I noted the following:

1) Ernie is back. I am not sure I like the new design much, but he is the web geek. I am no gay porn site developer like he is. And he got ride of Dexternie. I loved that little fellow. "Nuprin? Never heard of it." I loved that. If I were a computer nerd, I would start an on-line petition to bring it back.

2) The Tart is putting together a summer reading list. Some of the books look interesting. I should have one too. Feel free to send suggestions.
3) Today's PVP is great. If you read this tomorrow, just look back in the archives. You'll laugh. I hate the revisionist movie production. I want the original Star Wars, the original ET and the original black and white movies. update So a friend wrote and said he didn't get the PVP Indiana Jones movie joke. Here is the explanation I gave him (ie me posting this is just another way to proscrastinate):Ok, so Indiana Jones was directed by the same guy who directed ET. When they re-released ET on DVD they digitially edited the movie so that none of the government agents had guns, but instead all had walkie-talkies. It is not impossible to purchase the unedited ET without getting like an original video tape. At the time, the director said he was changing it for the children.

So here I am, in room 175, five minutes from my last law school exam ever. I think I have the info down so I should be okay. My "special words" for this test are: Wedgie, commodore 64, and Huey Duey and Louie. Every test I throw in odd words and try to get other people to do the same. Earlier this term I had 3 people use the term "Liquid Oxygen" in a test. That should stand out. Its fun. You should try it. Assuming that you aren't done with law school yet. I still have the paper to write so even after this test I will technically be a law student still. I think I will have a moment of reflection when I turn the paper in to look back at the last three years. They have been turbulent; an emotional roller coaster, but I have loved them.

So, over the last month I have been looking at my referrer logs. You know what has been my biggest hit? For a while it was this quote. Before that its 'Nude sumo wrestlers'. Now, it is freepanties.com. So if you are looking to increase your traffic, simply add those words to your page. I am expecting 5,000 hits in the next hour. I mean, can you imagine the drawing power of that combination of phrases? Maybe I should pay attention to content before I focus on my referrer logs.
My parents are on a cruise. I am in the library studying. It is sunny out. Could life get any worse? (Don't answer that karma. It was rhetorical[sp?].)

Sorry I haven't posted much. Finals and all. Hard to get going on the shit I need to do. I have a test left and a ten-twelve page paper left to do. I am more worried about the paper, but I still have a lot to learn for the test. It's Cinco de Mayo and I am doing nothing for it. I could go down and watch a wet T-shirt contest, but I am still recovering from the last one I was at. That is another story in it of itself. If I knew you better I might tell you that story. Anyway, I miss writing in here. I had my last day of work last friday and I sent out a thank-you for having me here email and everybody was like "that was the best email I have ever read" and "you should be a writer". I think writing in here helps, but I know I could be a much better writer than I ever am, but I also know that there are some pretty damn good writers out there. I am jealous of good writers pages. Oh, and the Blazers... I am happy that they made it interesting, but it is still a disappointment. Don't trade everybody.
