Adventures in Kareokee Last night some friends and I went out to the Double Tree Inn Lounge for some Kareokee and dancing. (I know I can't spell, see #5.) Let me set the scene. This place has walls with padded appolstery (again, me with the spelling). The ceiling has a few "chandalers" (again) which have a light purple feel to them. Basically, when you walk into this bar in Eugene, Oregon, you feel like you are walking into a cheesy bar in Reno, Nevada. This particular place combines Kareokee with dancing. They might do twenty minutes of dancing, then 20 minutes of singing. This goes on all night. There is a small dance floor, but since most of the dance music they play is "get your swerve on and grind" music it works out all right. I danced a bit and sang a few times. I didn't sing my usual "Bohemian Rhapsody" but rather sang "Yoda", "Rocky Raccoon" (duet), "Summer Loving" (duet), and the hardest song ever!!!!! IE "Rapper's Delight". What is hard about the song is how quick and long it is. There seriously is not any room for taking a breath. I did a really good job of keeping with it and not dying. There were some ladies to flirt with/dance with and I had a good time, so all in all it was a good night.

This new page has been linked. Apparently His God Damned Diary gets a lot of daily reads. How do I know? Because most of my traffic from last week came via his site. I am not sure how he found me, but he did. Good for him.
I noticed when I checked out my page that the link to my OLD pages is gone from archives. I will have to fix that. Sometime, not now.

Buffy
Was it just me or did the "demons" in Buffy the Vampire Slayer look exactly like the uruks from The Lord of the Rings?
UPDATE: I am not the only one who thinks that the demons looked like Uruks. She thought so (see the near the bottom).

Happy 300th
I watched the 90 minutes of Simpsons last night. While it was better than the 60 minutes that I wasted last week on Joe Millionaire, it definitely was below average as for as the Simpsons go. But, you can't beat the best episodes ever.
