Cheerleading under Fire

As most of my ex-significant others know, I have a thing for cheerleaders. Now, I have just one more reason not to visit Texas. I mean seriously, is there anything that governments won't regulate. Come on people.... when you are elected you should be thinking "What is the government's role in society?", not "Where can I stick my nose where it doesn't belong?"!!!!

I think this goes to the root of my problem with government as it exists in America. How can anyone question why I am a Libertarian with laws like this being passed? If anyone from Texas happens upon this post, please write your state senator's and tell them to quit micromanaging your life. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE.

Uh Oh

So yesterday someone spent like an hour going through this blog. 33 independant page views, which means they went all the way back. Normally this would not bother me. I actually normally encourage this. But this person found me via the search "Brad Gerke blog". Who in the hell did that? Some family member? A client? A former client? Part of the reason this page is nice is the bit of anonymity that is provides and I typically know who is checking it out (though I am surprised at times). Anyway, for future reference, if you read all of my blog, please at least leave a comment. :)

Variance and so forth

So after posting that winning streak on the 'Stars, I took sevaral hits in a row. 5 to be precise. And every time I was knocked out it was by an underdog. Some included losing with AA to KK on river, KK to 1010 on river four card flush, JJ to 19 (who filled up), and so forth. Anyway that hit my bankroll, but then I took another money and I am at around 170 on there.

On Paradise I was having fits with losing. I was down to below $400 for the first time since... well a very long time. I played the $10 rebuy and add on and made the final table on my initial buy in for a $500+ payday. That helps the bankroll. I also cashed out some of my money on Noble to pay for rent. We'll see how long that takes to get out.

As for real life, me and the chica had a talk about what we are. I think we concluded we are somewhere between friends with benefits and fuck-buddies. I am so happy about that.
