Apparently, some people believed that Mars called while we were out. But apparently, they didn't call while they were sitting at the beach of their favorite ocean. Perhaps the reason we missed the call is because we were sitting at a beach losing our hair. I didn't go check out Mars this week, but I did last week. I am not sure I missed much, being as the astronomers are still finding new moons in this solar system. I will check it out tonight, perhaps.

Perhaps he would have been luckier if he would have been born 40 years later Lou Gherig's disease, while still far from a cure, is coming closer to being treatable. As Science reports in techojargon that I won't pretend to understand suggests that the current studies find that the effects of ALS can be delayed by injecting something scientific into the infected muscle areas.
On another sad baseball note, Good-bye Mr. Bonds. I am glad that you made it out the ballpark to see your son play before the end. You were a giant among Giants.
