She's not a normal lesbian.

The title is something I overheard today, but it has nothing to do with this entry. This entry is about the Duke LaCrosse team and the allegations of sexual abuse. To date, the school has canceled its season, allowed the coach to resign in disgrace, and has suspended a player because his email was searched and released to the public. Now it appears that perhaps the stripper is lying. Given that I used to date a stripper and never had a problem with her, I can't say all strippers are bad. I can say that some are mentally fucked up. So, Duke did all those things based solely on the statement of a stripper. Now, as an attorney, my first thought was "Who is going to be sued first?" The school or the stripper? School has more money. Stripper (if turns out her complaint was untrue) has more culpability.

A very sad story

As I was coming up for a statement about this story, I thought this death was tragic. I then thought about how I hate it when news reporters use "tragic" too often to describe events. And then I thought "is there a time when death isn't tragic?" I am not sure but that gives you something to think about while reading this story.
