Mother's Day Weekend

So, I took off for Bend on Friday afternoon. Friday night I had dinner with my grandfather's bowling team (just to make it all good, I wore the swass bowling shirt that used to belong to him). Saturday was good. Golfed. I hit 5 drives on 9 holes that were 280+ and STRAIGHT. Two of my drives were over 300. If I only had a short game. Afterwards, we went "fishing". I'd call it boating. My grandparents came out onto Ochocco with us. The weather was nice. We didn't catch any fish, but it was like a picnic on water. I really like my dads new boat. Saturday night we went to Kahneeta for some gambling. I got there just as they were opening a second table. I got into some interesting conversations, and found out about bodog.com, which apparently gives some good bonuses, but when I checked it out, the bonuses were okay. I might still check it out. For those of you who read for poker content at least, the othere could care less. Anyway, I made $166 on Saturday night and felt pretty good about my play.

Sunday, I played cards with the family, and then the weather got good enough for me to mow the lawn for mi madre and pulled some weeds. Came back to PDX on Monday morning and today was a waste. That is my update.
