Fashion Police

I am sure you've heard by now that Lousiana is considering making low rider pants illegal. My two cents: I am not sure that would be legal. It may sound stupid, but you say something when you wear those low riders. The message may be as stupid as "I am sexier than you", but it's still a message. It may be a permissable "time place manner" regulation, but I am not sure. Still is this a 'significant' governnmental interest? Even if it survives free speech muster, it still has the problem of being under-inclusive. It doesn't appear that thongs are prohibited on the beach or that two piece suits are prohibited. These are forms of underwear allowed in public. Anyway, not an expert here, but think some issues will be explored if this is enacted.

Ah, plumbers have been using this style for years without anyone raising a beef. Now we have skinny bimbos showing their tatoos and thongs. Of course most of these girls are 15.
